When I joined this project I was determined to really cover every hour of the day. But then daily life caught up with me and especially these last weeks have been busy both at work and at home. I skipped last week, but for me the time between 05:00 and 07:00 is the time of the day that I have to myself.
My day starts between 05:15 and 06.30, and the first thing I do every morning is walking the dog. Usually we get home shortly after 06.00. As you can see, it is still dark at that time. Last week we had full moon, which I tried to catch on this photo:
Coming home from our walk I do the obvious things: showering, getting dressed, putting on make-up to get ready for work.I used to skip breakfast for at least 30 years, until I was diagnosed with diabetes II. Since then exercise and healthy nutrition have become a big issue in my life and I re-introduced breakfast into my daily routine. However, I have always loved fresh fruit and vegetables, and having a slice of bread with tomatoes and cucumbers in the morning doesn’t only taste good but is cheery to look at as well.
5:00 – 7:00 am is the time I have to myself as well, Trina. 🙂 Walking the dog and enjoying a cherry breakfast sounds like a great way to start your day.
