Can you imagine having been married for 55 years?
My parents got married in the house my grandparents built and have lived there all through these 55 years. On Friday we were celebrating in the same garden they had their wedding party in all these years ago.
We surprised them with a party: both my brother and me, our children and two great-grandchildren, one of them just three weeks old came from different places to be with them that day. We decorated the garden and brought loads of food and were sitting outside til late in the night. We even danced a bit, playing music from the late fifties.

I can’t imagine living in the same house for 55 years let alone with the same person! Well done them though, as long as they are happy.
